BOOKS I LOVED

One thing that makes me wake up with a huge smile in the morning is the smell of a fresh hot cup of coffee and a book.
I would have a hard time now giving up this almost meditative morning ritual.

A world without books is something I cannot imagine. Books can speak to me differently. They expand my knowledge, help me understand small and big things, and let me be part of inspiring stories. And they motivate me to keep creating and learning. One of my goals for 2024 was to visit the oldest bookshop in Europe which is located in the heart of Lisbon. I was there, and I discovered even another beautiful café and bookshop I will forever return to.

Now let me show you a handful of books that I read and liked:

LIFE STORIES

CREATIVITY

If you want to coach for creative confidence, either yourself or others, The Creativity Leap and Creative Confidence will give you a great framework to start with.

SELF IMPROVEMENT - PSYCHOLOGY - NEUROSCIENCE

Below you will find a list of books of which some are quite unknown but with transformative power such as the book Unbound by Kasia Urbaniak or Cleaning Up Your Mental Mess by Dr. Caroline Leaf. Your Brain on Art is one of those books that summarise scientific research and results in an easy-to-understand way and create stories that will have an impact even on people not much connected to creativity.

SOCIETY - ECONOMICS

We often tend to read about what we already know and accept. If you want to challenge your perspective on the modern tech world and how it already digitalised our every day, read Techno Feudalism. I found it thought provoking and a great addition to thinking critically about the next two decades. Bellingcat is educating the reader how to investigate truths using that digital world we live in.
