BLACK & WHITE PAINTINGS

“Contrast and change are the spices of life.” I couldn’t paint just one style forever, or use one set of colours because it simply doesn’t reflect how I feel and live. A few months ago I started to create another series of abstract digital paintings, purely in black and white.

It’s been over four years ago (2017) that I painted my first black and white abstract on a large canvas outside in the garden of a Brazilian artist’s house where I used to live. Using a liquid technique has been quite a mess, but an enjoyable one. To avoid this mess this time, I turned to digital and leveraged my iPad and Procreate to paint some new contemporary and hopefully timeless beautiful abstract pieces you and others would like to hang up in their homes.
